The Scotch Egg Club was officially launched last month, the event took place at Fattal Group Headquarters. Food, drinks and entertainment, everything needed to have a perfect night.
Now you may be wondering what brought together this odd mix of eggs and whiskey as we were, it appears Tommy Dewar, son of the founder of the whiskey brand, was fond of breeding pedigree hens.
When the scotch egg dish became famous, Tommy decided to capitalize on the intriguing allure of this trend and draw attention to both the Dewar’s Whiskey and his beloved golden eggs, thus the scotch egg club was created!
We tried for the first time the scotch egg which to our surprise tasted really good. It’s basically a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in bread crumbs and baked or deep-fried. Although The Sausagy by Richard Roustom was served with soft boiled eggs cut in half to provide that beautiful yolk porn.
The sweety by Isabella Baffa was absolutely divine, we couldn’t get enough!
The Scotch Egg Club took over Garden State on Monday 1st of August and the place was packed.
As expected the party was great and the bartenders were serving a selection of cocktails made with premium Dewar’s 12 Double Aged.
